In 2024, we cycled the East Coast Greenway from Bangor, Maine to Rye, New York.  Our intention was to cycle further south but we ended our ride in New York because of the excessive heat that enveloped the east coast.  That journey can be found in our Going Green Going South 2024 blog.  

This year we plan to continue our cycling south from Joe's house in New York.  From there we will continue our trip South to Jeff’s home in Virginia. We plan to follow the East Coast Greenway route through New York City to Philadelphia where we will leave the official route.  From Philadelphia, we plan to head southwest to York, PA, Mt. Airy, MD and then south where we will cycle on the western side of Washington, DC and end at Jeff’s house in Virginia.
